I was originally appalled when CRK decided to discontinue the Reg. I honestly thought they were shooting themselves in the foot. It is a beautiful knife. At the time, I had owned around 12 Sebs... mostly Regs, but with a "Classic" here and there. I, for lack of a better word, HATED, the Classic Sebenza... but it turned out that I never gave it a chance to ride in my pocket even for a single hour, let alone a day. I now have realized that I simply hated the gaudy "Classic MM" inscription. While I do still think that the Reg is a purdier knife, the 21 blows it away IMO. The Handle is far more ergonomic, and the blade shape is more useful. The handle of the Reg is so unique, that it is indeed beautiful... the blade... that belly.. gorgeous. For my uses, the 21 is a REAL performer. ...and somehow, in it's understated way... equally beautiful.
