  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

what's your sharpening regimen?

Once my stuff gets dull, striaght to my white Spyderco benchstones for a few licks, followed by a clean up on clean leather

Do you use a steel?

Do you use a strop?

How often?

And how often do you sharpen?

Thanks!

I just run it across my benchgrinder. I don't have too much problem except that I seem to go through knife blades every six months or so.

Convex edges: 80-1500grit sandpaper

V-grind: 200/300 and 500/800 combo stones, followed by the spyderco ceramics and strop with veritas green.

I touch up when I get bored, have the side of my 303mf case loaded with the veritas green.

Users get a 30 bevel followed by 3-4 strokes at 40 to remove any burr thats left...

my edc's usually just have a 30deg edge on em, my spydie ss 'fly has about a 12deg inclusive edge(or how ever low the blade grind is).
