  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's your size?

I carry but not on a daily basis the Fallkniven A1 6.5" or the BM 140HS Nimravus 4.5" both are great sizes I find thickness to be more important for me rather then lenght.

10" well for me that is simply to large, unless it is a Kukri or Machete.

Thats a very personal question, my girlfriend seems happy.

It is not the size but the quality (in all departments). Seriously, if it is the shape I like, D2 steel properly heat treated by a respected maker and within my price range I will take anything between 3-5" but preferably as short as possible. A knife is a cutting instrument, it is not a chopping tool. If I want to chop I take an axe.

I beg to differ...

Really, I've been spoiled by the Panther...once you get used to having a 10" blade at your disposal, everything else feels "inadequate" :( Prior to the Panther, my favourite length was 5.5".

RL - I gotta keep tellin' ya' - keep the blade INSIDE your shirt!!
