There is this big impractical hunk of steel that I have bought and sold 3 times and in all honesty will most likely sell this one also....... Just to get another eventually.
I can't seem to quit it even though it serves no practical purpose and weighs far too much for me to ever carry on a regular basis. But it was the first knife to break my $100 cherry and still speaks to me in a deep and primal way every time I hold it.

And then here is this, a somewhat recent acquisition but has not left my pocket since I got it and truly represented that "ah ha, now I understand" moment (especially as a lefty) where the angelic light shined down and a chorus of harmony sung out in unison.

It has been a long strange trip, but I feel at "home" with this one.
