Okay guys I have recently come across someone with a couple awesome knives they are willing to sell me. Which would you say is the best deal? They are all LNIB.
Benchmade 940 Green s30v - $100
Benchmade 940-1 CF s90v $150
Benchmade 781 Anthem $245

Just curious what your guys "best deal" would be of those 3.

Obviously, the 940-1 is the better deal.

Buy both the 781 and 940-1, then flip the 781 and recoup enough to cover the price of the 940-1. A 'free' 940-1 is always the better deal. ;)
The only problem with that is I would have a hard time letting it go!! haha

Get the Anthem! No brainer!
The knife is flat out amazing! You'd be getting it for almost $200 less than cost.

Wait, what?

150+245 = 395 395-245=150 I fail to see how that "flip" helps.

Personally, I would take a hard look at the 781, but the 940-1 is pretty nice.

They are all "about equal" in terms of deal quality, what, 40-something % off?

That said, get the 781 anthem, if you like it you got an awesome knife.
If not, you sell it and get a 941-1 and pocket the difference.

I've had the 781 for a few days, and i have to say even with the sticker shock.... it is pretty great! Action feels like a perfectly broken-in Axis lock Griptilian or Osborne. You know the 5+ year old one that is super smooth. Materials and fit and finish speak for themselves.

Is there any blade play to have the good action ?

$100 940? Easy, peasy.
I don't do CF, and that other one is still way more than I'd pay for any knife. Lol.
