Used my stainless, oak handled Opinel #8 to peel 5# of yukon gold potatoes and my 14" HI BDC to chop up a head of red cabbage, an onion, celery and an apple. Does the khuk count as a traditional? :D

Sure some beauties shown here!

Carving duties when the prime rib roast comes out of the oven will be this fighter/bowie made by Andy Sharpe; (ATS 34, Stabilized box elder burl, ivory spacer). It usually gets holiday/event carving duty.

Small kitchen tasks will be this "Bird & Trout"(1095 and birds eye maple), by Ice Tigre Knives(Me) from several years ago.

And probably this custom nessmuk, O1 and cocobolo(by a fellow called Bobby Hart, I THINK... not sure, can't remember) that is permanently in my kitchen arsenal;

Been carrying this GEC Northfield Harness Jack with Burnt Stag handles since I got it 8-days ago. I like it so much I couldn't see carrying anything else today.

Pardon the poor picture, and the Paramilitary in the background... but I carried the Old Timer yesterday.

The 8OT belonged to my grandfather who passed away just before Thanksgiving last year, and I've carried it along with my to all of our family gatherings since then.
