More specifically, with deer season either going on, or soon to be going on in so many places, what is your "over the counter" traditional deer knife? Knives that anyone regardless of income, or real knife knowledge can pick up and use to good effect? Say under $75 if possible.
Mine, I've been using a Buck 110 since I was a kid. I gave that one to my son, and purchased one of the Walmart Buck 110' for only $30. I like it, and don't see a reason to change. Lots of good memories of days past hunting with the Buck 110. So much so, that I associate the knife with deer hunting, even though it makes a perfectly good EDC. Cleaning it up after a successful hunt is fun IMO, so it being a folder doesn't detract from it's usefulness to me.
So what's yours?
