What knife or knives do you take with when hiking and how (if it does) does it change when camping hunting or fishing??? just askin

Pictures worth a 1000 words...

I've also got a carbon steel clipper that gets thrown into the mix as well. I've got a small SAK always on my keyring, and I'm thinking of picking up another larger SAK, but the one I want doesn't exist. (Locking large blade, saw, sissors, magnifying glass, sewing awl, phillips and flathead screwdrivers.)

If I am walking off the beaten track and have my PSK then I take my NRA Snody....

If I am camping then maybe a larger blade like my MOD4....

Next time I go camping or hunting, I'll take these. The Mora and SAK always go, but I want to give the other two a good workout when I can.

Hiking- SAK Spartan/Camper
Backpacking- SRKW Bog Dog
Snorkeling/ Diving - SRKW Inficoot
Camping - SRKW Camp Tramp
Bushcraft- Cold Steel Master Hunter Carbon "V"
Foraging- SRKW Desert Jack.

I have several specialized bags for whatever activity I might do, So I don't have to think about what I am taking. The bag is sealed with a contents list, and if needed I will add things, but it is always ready to grab and go with the basics.

The BK!0 and Ritter Grip always go with me lately. The Patrol Bowie gets strapped to my pack for longer trips.

Hiking(sort)- Fallkniven F1, Vic Rucksack and BM mini grip
Hiking(long)- Fallkniven F1, Vic Rucksack and a Hathet.
Hunting- Ron Post drop point skinner, Delica Wave and LM wave

But im sure hiking(long) will change when my BATAC, gets here.

Don't have it here with me so all i can do is post a stock picture, but it's the one knife I've carried more places than any other. Got it when I was about 11 years old and it has never let me down. The saw is pretty good, both blades lock up nice and solid, and it takes a fine edge without too much fuss. I don't hunt (grandpa died too soon to teach me) but it'll pan dress a trout as well as any other knife out there.

Makes me sad that camillus is gone, this is one great knife.

great looking blades guys.....

this is my woods blade of choice lately, my gene ingram #30.... just a pure joy to use... very light and comfortable in the hand...... i also pair it with my BRKT PSK knife and a SAK camper....

Busse Combat ST Ripper. My personal favorite for any situation that calls for outdoors knife usage.
