Aargh! Just remember, those "processional swords" usually weigh 20+ pounds! I've swung a 20 pound hammer, and, well, you're going to need to plan ahead to keep the blade moving in the right direction.
Zombies usually attack in dark hallways and other places where it's hard to get something this massive moving. If I've got the space to flail a bearing sword around, I'm going to run away, force them into a choke point, and pick them off one by one with something that's easier on my shoulders!
Hey, are we talking about the kind of zombies that go down easy with just a decapitation, or the kind where you need to chop them into pieces, douse them with acid, and burn the smoking sludge with thermite, or the remains will pull themselves back together and form one massive hulk of undead flesh that can bash through buildings and finally requires the recently sober, widowed, truck driver to make a heroic sacrifice by crashing his rig, which has been preloaded with explosives, into it?
I'm only asking because it changes the gear and the mission objectives somewhat.
