when advice turns to criticism.......

:D Nick, maybe I was projecting my own criticism of my work onto you. I sure didn't mean to make you feel bad - I meant that as a compliment! Okay, smoke's done, I'm going back to sleep. ;)

I'd lose sleep 3 nights running if it was me and you did tell me (this has happened once to me) BUT, I'd offer to remake it, take it back and fix it, or take a suggestion on what you'd like to do to fix the situation.

So, yeah, I'd like to know. And if it took 3 back and forth mailings before I had something you 'passed'- I'd be a far better maker for it and would probably send you another one free in thanks!

Ethics work both ways. The original maker may have sold you a knife he thought was a good knife. You sold a knife you thought was horrible. Are you any better than the maker?
No offense just constructive criticism.
I'm done
