I've seen knives like your jigged trapper pop up in sets every so often. I've seen them in burl (anniversary set), brown bone, green bone, and the often questioned blue bone. They all have the same shield and etch, and are contained in the same wood case with felt inserts. I'm thinking that maybe they were an end of days SFO that never got off the ground, maybe for SMKW or someone similar (This is all speculation on my part). Here are a couple of pics I've gleened off the web, they're not too clear but you can make out the shields and patterns pretty well. I also spotted the brown bone set recently but forgot to save a pic
These sets contained different assortments of knives, depending on the color bone:

Not sure about those smooth boned knives, but they're beauties!
