When do you reach for a Sheepsfoot?

Opening things. Boxes, clamshells, etc. That sharp, strong point does it easy without cutting too deep.

Plus one on the clamshell.

Which are a no joke task.

On my stockman knives The sheepsfoot tends to be my utility/whittling blade. Basically anything where I need to make straight cuts with heavy downward pressure. It tends to be my most used blade

The clip tends to be my food blade. The spey blade is usually the one I keep scary sharp for fine cuts.
