Is that flat ground?

I've been told by my resident expert that it might be full height convex.

Hey, congrats to you and Zach!

One thing you need to know about those laser sharp Comp Finish blades. The finishing process did not completely remove a surface layer on the steel called the decarb layer. Because of that, the CF blades have a greater potential for surface rust compared to typical satin finish INFI. You can either keep it dried and oiled, or put a some elbow grease into removing that decarb.

Thanks!! Good to know. I think I may just keep the decarb layer on for now and keep it oiled when not in use (IMO it gives it a 'rougher' appearance)... Then when that gets old I'll send it off to get Norcal'd.

Thank you all for the kind words. Our wild brother Adrock contacted me from the Jersey shore;):D How could I refuse?

The CF SJTAC is the only blade of the three from 2008 series that doesnt have CBT's. IMHO, this allowed a much better finish to be applied than with the JH, and HR. I got that knife in a trade and its been in my safe for alteast a year with no care or maintenance, and its spotless. For now anyway. SO go beat it before Adam gets a hold of it:thumbup::D

Ahhh Trevor! You're so dreamy!!! Way to go Trevor!!! You're the best Trevor.... Booooo!!!!! :thumbdn::thumbdn::D

Nice score! I'm glad to hear you got the knife you've been waiting for. Welcome to Busse - may your wallet forgive you...

The SJTAC is one of my favorite models as well.

Trevor is a great dealer in my book - as manix said, he's 'solid'!:)
