When is the last time your knife bit you?

Most of the times I get bit is when I'm just playing around, opening closing a new knife.

This was the last one, I got a little cut and also managed to poke a finger with that crazy pointy tip.

The worst one was about 3-4 years ago with a 20cv mini grip. Was cutting up an apple and flicking the skin of the apple and remnants on the blade into an open trash can under the desk (like an idiot) and mis judged the distance to the table. Spine of the knife hits the table, forcing the knife edge back into my right thumb. Split it open from the tip to the joint longways like a hotdog. Rough day at the office.

Then why’d they make a bread & bagel knife! 😆
So that a Victorinox collector must have the serrated paring knife, the small bread knife, the bagel knife, the bread and bagel knife, and the tomato and bagel knife, even if they are all the same knife with minor variations in length.

About 10 days ago got a nice slice from my Scorpius. And I'm only doing basic horizontals & verticals. I mean, open... close. That's all I need. Easy. Unless you accidently grab the bite handle. Which, of course, is also easy. Clean & painless but, yeah... that's gonna leave a scar. Not a good one, though. I mean, it's not like I can point to it and say all calm & gravelly "...that's the USS Indianapolis." Yeah, no.

Fortunately the blade bottomed out on bone rather than something more problematic like a vein or a tendon.

I'm kinda thinking every balisong get's one bite. Like little $@(&*)# vampires.

I'm also thinking maybe I don't need any more balisongs.
