Just have to give a big thumbs up to Jim aka BigKahunaSix.
A few months ago I purchased a used, black G-10 SE Police from Jim - a knife I had been looking to pick up for a long time.
When I received it from Jim, I realized that the locking mechanism was pretty much toast (to the point where slight pressure on the spine of the blade made it fail) and it was fairly obvious that it had been a heavy user. I was disappointed as I was hoping for a Police in better condition. But I didnt contact Jim to tell him so...
Instead, I sent it in to Spydie HQ hoping that they'd be able to restore it but no such luck. They sent it back saying that there was little they could do. :grumpy:
At this point I felt pretty upset about the transaction- so I emailed Jim (approx 3-4 months later) about what had happened. Jim immediately offered me a full refund and told me that he had received the Police in another transaction but hadnt really handled it- an oversight.
I didnt really want the refund and instead sent the Police back to Jim for a replacement SE Paramil which I just received today.
Just want to say that BigKahunaSix stepped up and made this deal a good one! Thanks Jim!!!!
