I think on price that if the new steel comes out and runs for a few years, it will be the first ones--in s30v that will become the more "valuable" ones.

Value for the collector and value for the user are two distinct things and sometimes they fight against each other.
 
okbohn, I believe you are right. The S30V ones will become more valuable through the collector's eye if a new steel takes over mainly production.
 
Hello all. My first post so go easy on me. I've got a large sebenza for EDC and just bought an Umnamzaan just a have to wait a few days so I can finger it. The question of new steel is one that bothered me but I finally just couldn't keep waiting and ordered it. Like others have said it will be 6-8 months before they come off back order. I have just one question for all you smart steel guru's................What is s35vn? Can't find much on it.
