When to expect the Izula folder?

But one that I'm trying to figure out is if the D2 part over 440C is true.....
 
Don't know where I've been on this one, but this looks AMAZING!! All my other folders are crying now because the betting on being replaced once this comes out!

Any ideas on the size? I love my izula but I'm hoping this is slightly larger. Somwhere in the 4 1/2" closed and 8" open range, about the size of a Griptilian or something I think would be perfect.
 
it is indeed going to be made of D2 the 440c is coming from the fact that they are going to start making some, if not all, of the other models in 440c.

Correct me if I am wrong Jeff.

If it's done properly, you shouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 3D rendering and a photo. I do it all the time for products that need to be used for an ad or brochure but aren't quite ready to be photographed (they're not quite off the production line yet). Also, for products that do already exist, we can often do a photographic quality rendering for less than the cost of a photo shoot, if multiple angles or lighting changes are needed. Nowadays, half (or more) of the products you see in an ad or on TV are actually done in a computer: no photography involved. Why? In many cases it's cheaper and faster to do it in a 3D program.

The one that Tom did is a good example: fooled you, didn't it?

Agreed on the size, that would be perfect for EDC utility
 
Wow I knew there was going to be a folder , I wasnt expecting a frame lock thats one serious looking knife
 
I have most RAT models, but not an Izula because I prefer a folder in a knife that size. When I saw that folder picture, my eyes bugged out! I have Benchmades, Blade-Techs, Spydercos, and even a ZT, but that Izula folder looks better to me than any of them. Beautiful frame lock. Gotta get one when they come out. :thumbup:


Edit: I would even like a version with the carabiner clip on it, if possible. I'd just hang it on my vest.

All I have to say effin' A. That is sweet and I am definitely getting one. I see some knives that are cool and I think I'd want to get, but this one is a definite. Can't wait!
