When will the G4 be out?

Yourcornerstore.com says it will be available to them (estimate) on June 19 for $23..
 
I think that would be an abnormally low price. $23 would be cheap for a Subcom. Gotta be a typo, IMO. The G4 is using the same materials and is in same size range as the Direkt and M-Type models, both of which retail for $40 to $45 at a place like New Graham.
 
MSRP on the G4 is $39.99, that's all I know about price on this item.
It does seem low for, G-10 scales, 440C blade of close to 4" and coated as well.
Even for a knife made in China or Taiwan. Even $40 seems low. I have no experiance with Boker. Is this the norm?

Go to yourcornerstone.com. Click on Boker Magnum. There is a section called upcoming products. On 6-19-09, the g4 is listed. It says you can pre-order the knife for $22.52 and shows up as $22.52 in the basket. Price might go up upon delivery, not sure, just reporting what I'm seeing.

I hope this isn't deal spotting Mods.
 
I did check it out before and don't dispute that you related exactly what you saw. I'm saying I have doubts that'd be the real street price when it's available. Just don't see how that knife could retail for the same price as a Subcom. If it turns out to be that way, great for the customers. :thumbup:
 
Something not right with this situation. 4" 440C blades with G-10 do not MSRP at $40. The Boker web site is taking orders now for $39.99. What am I missing?
 
They are being sent out tomorrow.
All the pricing info I have is saying $39.95, so it looks like all the discussed pricing is pretty accurate.

Some kind of bad news.
We will be delaying shipping the G4s for a while.
I have some QC concerns I need to clear up first.

Terry, I hope the things will get okey, so I can get a good one in future.
Yesterday, I had to return on of the G4s to our local due to poor mfg.
Its a wonderful design and I WANT to have one.:cool:
