When will the Microtech Compact Combat be out?

Last I heard they should be ready by the Blade Show.

The LCC was the first knife that I ever saw that I liked. Only the price was too high. Now there are many more knives that I'd love to have, but I may purchase an MT LCC just because it was the FIRST one that made me drool

But why is it called a "Combat" knife? If we're talking about the Lightfoot design that I think we are, it looks to me like just a good useful pocket knife for cutting all sorts of organic matter besides enemies.
