When will we hit 5000 members?

Mike, Spark, here's an idea, when the 5000th Member joins, why don't you give him the title under his name "5000th Member!" kind of like a "mile stone." I mean it is kind of special, don't you think? Of course, it would be kind of a Bummer if he just turned out to be a perpetual "Lurker."

As I write this we only need 7 more members to hit 5000. Wow!

So it looks like we'll be closing down for awhile to make Mike's prediction of Thurs Feb 10th at 6:30 EST be correct.

I just checked. There are now 5001 members. That makes 5000, because I don't think Jerry Springer REALLY joined up yesterday to post in the 'when members attack' thread. Had to be someone already here playing around. At least I hope so.
 
Anyone know who the 5000th is? This is kind of exciting. Phil, I am one of those "wave" people, your comment hit home. How about one more, I think this is a worthy occasion

There are 5516 members in our data base. The 5,000th member was "Pockets". When we delete members because of profile problems or bouncing email it still keeps them in the data base.

Mike, Well swami you missed this one. However, congrats on a super job and please keep up the great work and this site. I am a recent member but this place is great stuff. I sincerely hope a year from now the number is 10 times 5000. Look forward to meeting you at the Blade Show. By the way doesn't this mean you have to buy every forum member a drink of choice at the show.
