when will we see rolling lock military and starmate?

The subject says it all. I am curious. I would love to have one of each with a rolling lock. I know the Starmate just came out, but I would love to see them in a rolling lock.

shootist16 -- Sal said they might present an RL Military in Atlanta next month. A regular production might start next year. Afterwhich, they'd consider upgrading the other models to a rolling lock.

Aside from an RL module, Sal said they have at least three more new locks in development...

Just so they're not liner-locks. I know, I KNOW, the Mil liner lock is reliable. Don't care, don't like it, can't bring myself to buy it.

So, it sounds like the RL Mil will not be available until Summer 2000? That's a bummer

'Course, maybe by that time I will have enough money saved to buy one, because I'm dang sure they're gonna cost even more.

Yeah, I'm a little down today. I just can't seem to ever find/get the knife that I want (which would have a rolling or axis lock, CPM4xxV or M2, and a handle about like the Mil or the Native).

Take a deep breath while you wait, but I think it's an exciting time with all the cool knives coming out WITHOUT a linerlock. The Military is certainly one, the MBCF concept is another, the large and small Axis (just saw the latter, cute.), the Synergy from SpeedTech (in the latest Blade Mag) and, of course, REKAT.

But if you like hole, which I do, take a couple more deep breaths (and so more...) The Military will be out soon enough.

Much as I look forward to the RL Military, I love my current one.

Never a fan of back locks, liner locks took me by surprise and it wasn't until I started visiting the forums that I became aware of problems with them.

All in all, I am content with what I have now but will "Definately" get me one with the RL.

Now the wait, ooooohhhhhhmmmm ooooohhhhhmmmm
