When ya know its bad.....

Tough for sure, I know I hate emergency room visits with my kids... my son on the other hand is getting used to them... stitches on a ship in Jamaica last Feb was the last trip to ER.

She should heal quick with all the BH's wishing her well. Just remember to take pics when you use the BK3 to remove the cast!

You know what comes from that attitude, make the school pay. Schools shut down playgrounds, playtime, exercise, altogether.

We used to have a nice private beach/swimming hole in town. Used to take our daughter there all summer. Closed. Insurance cost too much to run the place.

I could see suing the school if say the playground equipment fell apart or something, but to sue because a kid got hurt doing kid things seems crazy to me. I shouldn't have to say this, but Thanks for being a responsible adult moose! In this day and age it seems rare to me. Keep raising your kids, you're doing a great job.

They both play. My oldest has the broken arm, sumac on the shin, and a cold. The little one, just has a cold.

Whew, rough week so far.

Moose

good to know she's OK and will still be able to practice.
surprised you didn't hit her with the "it's broken - they'll probably have to amputate..." line...

Almost the same happened to me a few years ago. I don't know all the medical terms, but basically I hit a "pothole" while bike riding offroad, bike flipped, I flew appx. 5 ft, and it looked like 2 tennis balls were imbedded in my elbow. Turns out that the bone in my upper arm wedged the 2 bones in my forearm apart, breaking everything in their way, including growth plates. That elbow is still about half an inch bigger than the unbroken one.
