When you cheat...Who is your mistress? Just curious.

Cool Lisa that looks like a paul knife. I havent cheated on my large insingo in a long time. I have a mnandi and large classic micarta and at lunch at work i sometimes use a AG russell one hand knife because I don't care if i thrash it.

Peter Rasanti, Fitz, Hinderer, Anso make up some carry time. Every now and then a Birch..

New mistress... Calavera Cutlery El Patron with SM100 blade.

Lovely shape and finish, more on the maker? size? how's the "steel"? searched a bit and it seems interesting
seems 3" in the pics but i assume the blade is longer? (3" would be nice, i'd buy it!)
I like it, nice "mistress"

PM sent with more info.

Lately it's been an extrema ratio M1A1, I got it to spare my sebenza outdoors abuse. It's a nice little folder with a few extra tools other than the knife blade, I like it.

I think this is a great thread for this forum so I'm bumping it up. These are the only three non CRK folders that still get pocket time.

Spyderco Chokwe w/ Rival1314 CF scale
Ray Laconico EDC Framelock w/ D2, G10, Orangepeel Ti
William Henry T12CF

The only thing that kicks the Zaan out of my pocket is my Benchmade 940 in red. Serial # 22/50, circa '02-'03 I believe.

For me, it is the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. I have (4) of them and think it is one of the most perfect knives ever created for the price point. It fits my hand perfectly and I am a big fan of the compression lock. My favorite is the M390 Blue sprint run.

These days it's a Spyderco Southard. Amazing quality for the price but my daily office EDC is still a small Insingo.

I have switched to exclusively carrying a small insingo and soon to be small regular sebenza to work. If I'm not going to work and I'm not going to carry my large insingo, I'm probably carrying my El Patron flipper, mini war horse, or (gasp!) Strider.

Every so often, I still carry an old Benchmade 970S CQC7 I bought new almost 20 years ago in the 1990's. It was my first "expensive" knife at a cost of about $100. I used the thing and sharpened it so much it is actually now shorter by about 1/4" and the serrations are starting to go away. In the photos it is next to a relatively unused and slightly later model year version of the same knife. It's a good testament to how well ATS-34 can hold up if you take care of it.

A small Insingo is indeed a perfect daily knife for the office environment...... in a sheath in my pocket as to not frighten the other engineers. Once I get home I typically add another larger folder clipped on. Of course my most used knife, in terms of time spent cutting, is one of my kitchen knives. That is a whole different world.

I was an infidel with a few other folders and fixed blades. I confessed earlier in the thread. My CRK's got wind of my philandering ways and threatened divorce. Considering the long-standing relationship I have had with them and the impending litigation, alimony, and guilt-ridden nights I have made the conscious decision to never cheat again.

I rotate between my Zaan and a Laconico custom.
