Where are the Microtech enthusiasts?

My first Microtech was one of the previous generation LCCs (with titanium liners). I was and am very fond of the LCC, although it isn't one that I carry all that often.

Today I received a stone washed Medallion neck knife. It's too new for any detailed evaluation, but so far it looks like a winner! The blade shape is versatile and the grip feels firm in my hand despite its size. It is also the first necker I've tried that can compete with my Emerson La Griffe on weight and concealability.

Hi Kingknives.

James loves his UDTs, but more as a user knife.

I see you like Nemeses; me to. ;)

Microtechs are the best factory knife and are better than 90% of the customs out there. Argueably, MT UDTs are the best user auto made, but their OTFs put them on the map.

That's not speaking your mind, that's speaking someone else's mind. Get back under the bridge, troll.

Now that I got that off my chest, I am new to Microtechs. I have one, an LCC M/A, and is my favorite knife. This thing is the closest you can get to custom. Every thing lines up perfectly on mine. I'm really looking forward to the Amphibian, and I'm also thinking about getting an OTF... man I love Microholism.

I agree that all of the Microtech auto's I have owned were the best production auto's I've ever seen/held/used.

Their manual knives have always left me a little dry with the exception of the LCC.

I wish MT would come out with a hard use manual with a plunge lock like the MOD CQD MKII(one of my favorite tacticals).

I would own many more MT's if they would move from the liner locks and micro-bar.

Freedom1 -- So, you're exploring the joys of trolling now? Trolls aren't wanted here.

Your case is particularly frustrating, because you have asked for help in some of your early posts. In going over them, it is clear that you ignored all the advice given you on your first request for advice on which knife to buy.

Today, you're asking for guidance on sharpening your BM. On all the threads, several people have gone out of their way to try to make you welcome and give you carefully considered advice. Then you come up with the s&%t of your two posts here.

Why don't you just take your juvenile trolling sense of humor and go away?

Bugs3X...I did not ignore the wise advise given here, some people suggested the BM940 or 942 thats what I bought and my next knife more than likely will be another suggested knife Spidie C48.

Also it is not my opinion that Microtech knifes are overrated. A large dealer where I bought my 942 told me they were overrated.I can tell you this I didn't buy one after looking at the ones he had in stock.
My advise to you Bugs3X is to CHILL OUT and get away from that computer for awhile it's affecting you judgement cause I don't troll.
I will give my opinions(without fear of repercussions) on what I think of a given knife or knives if I feel like it. This is a free country now isn't it.

:D

Wonder if this large dealer carries MT knives. :)

Saw my first MT in '95 (Halo/AP). The innovation shown as well as the quality has held my interest more than any other production company.
(Chief, my friend, as much as I enjoy MT products, we need to get you around some nicer customs :) )

My knife collection was started with a microtech. My wife got me a Halo 3 for Christmas 3 years ago. To that I added a Kestrel, Vector, M-UDT, LCC M/A, Combat Talon, and Nemisis. They are the only production knives I own right now.
