Where can I buy small tritium vials?

I'm looking for some small vials of tritium to customize my knife spacer. All the links I've found are old. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Its radioactive and I would believe tightly regulated.

They should be available on line. It would be an interesting way to illuminate the handle of your knife, but I think as a replacement or instead of a mosaic pin. Check the regs. as long as there is little chance of the vial breaking you should be OK.

This thread prompted me to Google it, out of curiosity. There's an abundance of products made with tritium (glow-in-dark watches, gun sights in particular), but I didn't see any sellers (dealers) of the raw product in a vial, though. I also wouldn't be surprised if the raw stuff is much more tightly regulated now.

Couple of people at Candlepower forums sell the vials. Other posters are correct in saying that it is tightly regulated here in the US. Most of the vendors are in other countries.

Candlepowerforum marketplace to be specific under the dealers section. Tritium... all shapes and sizes... beyond your wildest dreams and all for the taking for the money.

Don't fret about the radioactive gas. You'd have to smash up a whole bucketful while deeply breathing in with a plastic bag over your head. Then you'd piss out the isotopes that afternoon.
