Where can i find carbon steel in the phoenix area?

I am getting a chunk of money and would like to try my hand at making some knives but I can't find anywhere to buy some knife steel near me. I am looking for 5160 or 1084 as I can heat treat it myself and is good to work on.

Does anybody know where to get some in Phoenix area. I was gonna order from Aldo but 100 dollars for 20 dollars worth of steel seems like a lot. Shipping is hella expensive.
 
Are you sure you got the shipping price correct. It doesnt cost anywhere near that to send it up here to WA which is farther from him then Phoenix. You could try Kelly Couples as well, he does free shipping on steel when you buy over $100. Not sure how much you wanted to get.
 
Oh snap! I didn't put in my zip. I was just looking at the subtotal. Shipping is under 20 bucks.
 
Ordering from Aldo or Kelly would get you the steel you need. Taking the class from Tai would show you how to use it. Then help you find steel to use and how to tell what it is and how to use it too. Tai was my first instructor in knifemaking and has been an inspiration for over 20 years now. Great Guy and well worth the time investment to take a class from him.
