Where can I find CPM 10v stock

Sup guys. I need some 10v bar stock

I can't find it through my usual places like AKS

I need it .180-.160 thick.

Any help would be appreciated

I apologize for being out of stock. We have five sheets of 10V at the waterjet cutter waiting to be cut. We will have it back in stock within two weeks.

We've been trying to get some thin 4V but have not been successful. We will keep trying.

Do you like 4V? Have you tried Vanadis 4 Extra? If yes, how do they compare?

I have not tried any, I've been hearing great things about having similar wear resistance to M4 yet more toughness and stability at the same Hardness.

Also I've been told that the 3rd gen PM V4E produces finer carbides
Then the 1st Gen PM process on 4V (carbide size not grain size) but smaller carbides are not necessarily a benefit since the larger carbides I've been told make a more aggressive cutting edge. Especially if one prefers a "Scary Sharp" polished toothy edge.

Just need some in ~.170

I'm very happy to hear this. My first knife was 10V, and I've been blown away by it. I want more! Did you guys get anything thinner than 0.100"? I'm really wanting to make a Santoku knife with 10V.

It would have been faster to go check there website then to ask that question. And yes thy have stuff thinner then .100, as thin as .068 in stock

I'm aware that it would have been faster to check. However, I could have sworn I just looked and they didn't have any. Plus, AKS just said that they had a bunch getting cut, which was NOT on their website. I guess I was thinking of stuff in the 1/8" range, which is what I usually buy. They are showing to be out of that. Anyway, thanks for letting me know.
