Salamander,

There's been a slew of threads recently on neck knives. You may want to try to the search button.

For handmade (custom): you got, just from recent postings: Lynn Griffth, Matt Haristad (sorry about the spelling), Running Dog aka Mike Murphy, Dale Reif, Newt Livesay, Daryl Ralph, Pat Crawford, Fred Perrin, Don(?) Raker, Al Polkowski among others.

Some these folks have websites found on the link page. Others have their works available through www.robertsoncustomcutlery.com, www.knifeart.com and www.arizonacustomknives.com.

That's a start.

You will want to check out Lynn Griffiths line of neck knives. I have a Patrolman with white micarta handles. Take a look at them, give him a call, he will answer all questions you may have on them. He also has many other carry modes for them for those times neck carry wont work. Check 'em out, you wont be sorry. BTW Lynn, its been a while since I have had time to do the internet much, so I just checked your site again for the first time in a while. That Patrolman with Blue G10 is one sweeeet looking knife. It gives my white micarta one a run for the money in looks.

Richard,
Thanks. Did you see the white G10. I think that will look cool on a Patrolman also. Good to see you back on line.

Talk to you later,
