This thread from the Shop Talk Archives has lots of information on making kydex sheaths from many makers, both newcomers and pro's who make their living with kydex.
One point that becomes clear in reading that thread is that there are usually a couple ways of doing the steps necessary to make a sheath. It's not that any of the methods is right or wrong. It's just that different people developed different solutions to the same construction needs.
