Hi !
I would like to know where I can send handlematerial(wood) for stabilization?
If you know of a good company that provides that service I´d be very happy to know.
For stabilizing try Wood Stabilizing Specialists, International at http://www.stabilizedwood.com/index2.shtml
I haven't dealt with them yet, but plan to, I've heard good things about them.
On knife-list there was talk of someone in Kentucky that did good work and didn't charge an arm and a leg. I hope someone has his address, he didn't have a web site.

I've used Wood Stabilizing Specialists Intl. and they are super people to deal with. I have custom ordered wood from them sight unseen, cut to specific lengths and widths and had them stabilize it and all done in a reasonable time. I must say though that depending on what you order will determine on how much the price will vary. I had two pieces say 36" in length and 1 and 3/4" thick (one piece in Narra and the other was Buginga). The Bubinga was AWESOME! I was very happy with their service and willingness to satisfy my needs.
