I was wondering where to buy 1095 Carbon Steel. I want to make a knife, and don't know where to get the steel. I saw some on eBay, but the steel isn't exactly the size I want. Could someone help? I was looking for about a foot long peace 5 inch across with a width of 5/16. This will be my fist knife so I might need extra. Or if you have a better idea I am open to it. I don't have a lot of tools either. I thought about getting a wok a metal bucket some tubing and using a shop-vac as a forge. I would put it on my Weber grill. Most of the knife I want to do without power tools. I want to make my own grips so, I will need to use a drill to set the pins. But I thought as my first knife I should do it by hand. So any tips/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck of your first build.
Just one extra comment,if your planning on doing your own heat treat, get 1084 instead.Much easier to home H/T than 1095.
