Where can I get a balisong in the UK

Hi, where can I buy a balisong knife from the UK, those pesky customs officers have a nasty habit of seizing them if you try to import...

Hi Col,

The reason you cannot get a Balisong into the UK is simple. There are illegal. Full Stop. Since about 1986 (I think)it has been illegal to "import, sell, own, store" balisongs in the UK.They are a "prescribed" weapon, that is, no matter when you bought one, it is now illegal to have it (whether on your person or at home) no matter how well stored it might be.

The only option you have is to bring one back with you from another country, or get someone else to do it for you. Either way, getting caught gets you a lot of trouble :-)

Thanks for the reply, but I knew that anyway. I have two I bought a few years back from abroad (very cheaply...), but damn I want some good quality ones!
