Try BladeArt..the heidi model is about the price range you are looking for . I just recieved one and it is a definate keen kutter.The finish is rough forged except for the edge grind, but it is the silver steel which has a great rep for sharpenability and edge holding..

Best thing to do is take a look on Scandinavian sites.
You can buy directley from the maker.
Also Via Claudia in Germany sells puuko's.
If you really like to buy a very nice puuko, I think you have to invest alot more than $100.
