where can I get a surefire E1 or E2

I have purchased several flashlights from botach. Here is their site: HERE

They have a bad rep in the forums. I have found, over the course of half a dozen orders with them, that they mean well, but simply cannot count. Two of my orders were missing an item. Don't bother trying to contact them by e-mail, just call them up. They never answered my e-mails about my missin items. However, on the phone, they were polite, and quickly supplied the missing items correctly.

The last missing item was an E1 Sure Fire. I contacted them by phone, and they assured me that they would send it out. I told them I wanted some more stuff, so just toss it in with the new order. The person on the phone quickly agreed, but said he would, to save time, just use my old order number. A few days, the order arrived, with the items correct, but the only invoice in the box was for the OLD order. I thought this odd, and checked to see if the amounts deducted from my credit card for the old and new orders were correct. They were.

So, give Botach a try, if you are lucky, you will get what you ordered the first time!

I went ahead and ordered the E1 from www.cutleryshoppe.com I have had good service from them in the past. I hope to have it by early next week. I paid $62.00 shipped ups 2nd day air.

I agree with Walt on Botach. I have dealt with them twice with no problems. I do think it's best to call first for availability tho. Now and then, it's hard to beat their prices. However, I got my E-1 and E-2 from Tim Flanagan at noreastknives and he's hard to beat for price/service. I've never seen a complaint on Tim but I can't say the same for Botach.

I have ordered a 6P, a Pulse, and an E2 from Botach and have not had any problems. Seemed like the order was a little slow but that was all.
