Hi guys, I just purchased my first khukuri! I love these knives and have been looking at them for a long time, i finnaly could not resist it any longer and got one. It is in relatively good condition, about 15 inches long with the word "India" engraved one one side of the blade along with some other designs. It is old and the Chakmak & Karda knives are missing. it has the slots in the sheath but not the knives :( i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get some for cheap. haha all of my money is going to college so i will not be able to dish out big bucks, sorry. thank you guys and i hope someone can help me!

Welcome To BFc, panchithatimus!

Does it have a Lion Head for a pommel?

If so, it is a "tourist" grade khukuri and is meant for hanging on your wall or displaying on a mantlepiece.
Very few of the lion head khukuri are even heat treated, as they are not meant to be used for much of anything, much less any sort of chopping. The chakmak and karda for these is usually made from scrap metal and are mostly useless for the job they are intended because they are usually too small to be practical and are usually not heat treated either.
Very few places sell the chakmak and karda separately, as they usually arent in enough demand to produce on their own. Each set is usually made for the khukuri and scabbard it goes with. If you find ones that are too large, you could end up damaging your scabbard by trying to insert them.
I would suggest googling to see if anyone has a wayward set or individual that needs a home.
