I have one on pre order for the last 11 months and it has not shipped and may never.None of the in stock notifications that I subscribed to at various dealers were sent as of today.Keep an eye open and monitor GP's site.They should get some and I can't remember if they ever took pre-orders.There is a thread here also worth monitoring.Some more may release also...Happy hunting!I finally snagged one today and the price hurt me a little knowing that others have landed them for less. I think the production 801 is a very fine model and have enjoyed it since it was released.This one is a must-have for me...

salmonkiller's suggestion is a good one. Also, watch this thread where people are noting when/if one comes available.
I DO think more are coming as there is at least one dealer who has them on order but not received his allotment yet (but no pre-order there either). I know that I want one more for my son (no intent of flipping, just a gift - hopefully - for his BD in June). I suspect that folks here will mention when dealers get some in.
There are also some on ebay, but they are priced above MSRP.
I'll echo this as well. I have notification requests from almost all of the bigger knife dealers and none have contacted me at all.
