Hey, I just realized that I should be taking care of my investments, at least while I'm not using them :D . I was able to find a zippered pouch for my Buck custom, but haven't been able to find any for my higher end productions, and my few customs. Anybody to check out?

His cases are the best, bar none, and they are not priced outlandishly.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Mr. Frigault's cases are very nice, when you purchase a knife he delivers it in a zippered padded pouch with his name on it but I wasn't aware that he sold them separately.

Dan, let me know how many you need. I can get them for you. If you come to the Chesapeake show, I'll show you the ones I use.

I've been meaning to pick up some of Bill's custom cases.. Can someone tell me where to get the best price, buying about 15 of them?
Thanks,
David

silenthunterstudios,

Lately I'v been switching over from single knife cases to multiple knife cases (Bill's)...if you're coming to the Chesapeake show I'll stick a couple dozen singles in the trunk for you, if we see each other you're more than welcome to them gratis :) Look for the guy hanging with the other bali guys :D

There's always a local gun/knife show. I always pick up a few at each show I go to. No, they're not Bill's, but they work and cost a lot less.

Bill's cases are tops, and priced accordingly. I find Rick Frigault's cases a very cost-effective alternative.

the cheapest zippered, padded cases are from Smokey Mtn knifeworks
they have some that will fit a BIG BIG Bowie for $4-7$

Anyone have a link to Bill's cases??? I am very interested in some for my customs as well.

I don't think Bill has a web site but you can reach him here,

Yeah, I have seen them and they suck so bad it boggles the mind.

Cases like that are fine for transport, but they are not made for storage.

-Bill's cases breathe, I don't know how else to state that.

-The foam he uses does not collect or give off moisture.

-The synthetic shearling lining holds the knife in place, without scratching.

-The "Custom" part of Bill's Cases, you get EXACTLY the size you need.

-The way that Bill does his elastic straps totally works for me. Without the straps I would have lost many sheaths a long time ago.

If you guys think that the Cordura is expensive, wait until you move up to pig suede. About 35% more $$, but the most elegant case for higher end knives.

If you want cases for mid-level production knives, use whatever you want.

For me, there is no other case I am even interested in for custom knives. Black is the only color I buy my cases in, and Bill's cases are a great "deal sweetener" or can be sold as stand alones if you do not feel like selling the knife with the case. Try selling those vinyl units.:barf: I can't even give those away.

I did a Google search, and found Bill's cases! I AM going to get some. They look like the best knife cases that money can buy, and with recommendations from here; I am sold!!

Steve is absolutely right! Bill uses all materials that are made in the USA, ask the same of the others. I've used Bill's for years and can't say enough good things.
Nothing sucks more than paying thousands of dollars for a knife and it comes wrapped in paper towels, a cheap a$$ case or nothing at all!

Bill's e-mail is billscustomcases@earthlink.net I've recently gotten a few in OD green cordura and they are pretty "tactical".

I've over bought substantially, I'll try to get a list and post them up in the For Sale forum.

They aren't fancy but work just fine. Bill makes nice cases, I have one or two.

At 20 dollars a pop I would need to spend close to $1000 on nice cases.
NO THANKS.
