Where do the canvas micarta pins come from?

Yeah, Andy and Dylan, you know who you are! I've been on the phone with McMaster-Carr and ordered 8 feet each of G10 pin stock in 1/8 and 1/4 inch diameters. I'm thinking black G10, right? Wrong. It comes in, and now I've got 16 feet of greenish white pin stock! Anybody need some? :grumpy: So I called 'em back, and now I have 4 feet of gray/brown G10, 2 feet of 1/4 inch Carbon Fiber, 4 feet of 1/8 Carbon Fiber, and 4 feet of 1/8....plastic? Forget what they called it, but it's way flexable..too flexable, perhaps.

So I give up, where do I find the black fiberglass and natural canvas pin stock that I'm seeing? I'm nearly $200 in with McMaster-Carr, and I still don't see what I want in my bin of pin!
 
When a Canvas Micarta daddy pin is in love with a Canvas Micarta mommy pin.........:D
 
I can't find black micarta rods at McMaster-Carr. So I switched to black fiberglass rods, and get them from some kite supplier out on the west coast. Can't find the damn name. Good thing I ordered 400 feet of it at once. I'm ordering some of the black micarta rods now from texas knife now. I like micarta better that fiberglass.

Those rods you got are good stuff Matt. Keep em. Having lots of pinstock around allows a lot of creativity.
