I’ve tried lots of places on ol’ smoky :D and the best place I’ve found so far is between the gear levers.
I have a rifle scabbard behind the seat rest, and that’s alright there, but not close enough IMO for my truck knives. I’ve been over some rough ol’ tracks and they don’t budge from where they are. But I’m open for some better suggestions.
Where do you keep yours?
A few pics of my knives that live in the truck.

Here’s where they currently live. Don’t take any notice of the dust and meat pie particles. :D

The SFNO and Active Duty are my two favorite choices for when in the bush or on the road.

Dare ya to take them off him. ;):D

I keep 'em in my truck... ;)

Actually, where I live, I don't keep any in my truck. Too big of a chance to get broken into to risk leaving a Busse there, not to mention that in my local jurisdictions, a knife hidden is a "concealed weapon". If I need to bring a knife, it rides in the back in a conpartment way out of my reach from the driver's seat.

Aw, c'mon, that nice dog's a pussycat!! For that AD, I'll give it a go!! :D:D

Nice knives & piggyback sheath!

:)

crash axe under back seat:)

SD hanging from rear view mirror ! LOL:D

side note what happened to big boy?

I see his leg is shaved. Recent surgery or just a check up??

My truck knife is a MOD 4 Survival Knife and I was keeping it under the fold down seat divider/arm rest for a while. That was a pretty handy place for it. However, since I keep a crowbar in the door panel compartment I figured I don't need both handy so I put the knife back in my tool bag which rides in the back seat. I figure between the 18" crow bar and whatever knife I have on me I'm ready for any emergency extraction type situation.

He’s had a tumor removed from under his right eyelid, the vet seemed happy enough that he was able to remove it all. So I have my fingers crossed.

I also don’t think the vet wants’ to go through the trauma of anesthetizing him again either. :D
Cheers,
Ian.

Wow your observant, hope everything ends up good with your dog

Scrapyard YK & Ranger RD-Hawk in the trunk.

Swamprat Ratshaker tucked in driver side sun visor.

Ranger RD4 tucked under back seat.

I usually have a stripped Dogfather or my green FBM CG jammed in between the passenger seat and the console. I can slip it towards the back and the handle hides behind the seat belt connector. The DF handle just looks like a 4WD shifter at a glance.

Mine is under the backseat in a Semper Paratus sheath.

Within reach (kinda), so as to not (hopefully) create a legal issue.

For 200,000 miles my first SHSH(INFI) rode in the truck tool box in the back.

Now, when I take one, it is usually a SHBM sitting on the seat ready to use, or on the belt ready to use.

Mostly no more "Truck Knife" for me, I worry a bit now about Thieves and possible loss.

No more Busse truck knives for me, since I had my XXXL Nick stolen from my truck. Cold Steel knives are the only truck knives and nothing over $50.00.

Crash Axe in the bed. Otherwise, no knives in the truck. Not a big need for it.

OK, there's a Glock knife in the GHB - only b/c it's cheap and never used. Can't imagine putting a Busse in there to never be used 'cept in case of emergency.

I don't leave anything on my car of very much value ($100ish). When I am in my car I might have a Busse in my boot, need to get a decent booth sheath though. Depending on my destination I sometimes have an overnight bag with a Busse or Crash Axe for fun.

I need to get a picture, but I keep my FBM Proto in a kydex Sheath strapped to a nylon strap around the head rest on the backside of my passenger seat. Shame my user is worth more than my truck!

Not really worried about thieves......'92 S-10...rusted hood, stock tape deck, stock rims (one missing the lug cap) and more dents and bruises than most other vehicles. But hey.....insurance is 26 a month, gets 25 mpg and it is a 4.3L V-6.

I have a FFBM in Chuddy Bear leather riding in my trunk usually, along with a Ka-Bar Kukri. There's a sneaky stash box built into the trunk, so I'm not too worried about it getting boosted.
