We have crap for knife stores around here in Wichita. Looking for a good place to buy online. Specifically
Kershaw and ESEE. thanks

Amazon.com for most of my knives, normally get around 60% off msrp. In fact I've only ever bought 1 knife in a knife store(cold steel black rock hunter) the rest are amazon/gifts with a few big5's thrown in.

Amazon. Their prices are usually the best for cheap ($50 or less) knives. Anything more, and you are usually better off finding a good dealer (I just did a google search and found great prices). Amazon may be worth it for the slightly more expensive ones, with their awesome customer service and good return policy, coupled with Amazon Prime.

I've bought my esee 5 and just ordered an izula from knifeworks. I bought my esee 4 from the smoky mountain knife works when I was in Tennesee.

When i'm shopping online...I open several tabs in my browser and then flip back and forth to see who has the best price. That's the quickest and easiest way I know of to compare.

Knifeworks
Knife Center
GPKnives
Blade HQ
SMKW
Knives Ship Free (for slip joints)
Amazon
Knife Art
True North Knives
*Bay

Pull up the same knife on all tabs if they offer it. Some will have it...some won't. Whoever is cheaper, gets my business.

most of my production knives come from either KnifeWorks, or New Graham Pharmacy

Both are run by top notch folks, and are a pleasure to do business with.

Amazon is pretty good for Kershaw, but for ESEE you'd best check the for sale forums here.

Knifeworks just because of Roger, whoever he is. Dude was answering my emails at 4:45 am one morning. That guy deserves a raise.

I haven't bought a production knife in about 3 years, but when I did it was from New Graham Knives. their service is top notch. Lots of kershaw's: a bump, a blur, couple of scallions.

Different online retailers seem to have a better selection and better prices with different brands of knives, so check around. I'd concur that you can certainly get a good deal on Amazon for a lot of Kershaw stuff, but I would also give a strong recommendation that you check out our own local kershawguy, either on his dealer threads here, or at his kershawguy website. Among his many virtues is the important one of not being a megacorporation. My experience with Dave has been nothing but good in both terms of price and service.

There's a few decent places in Kansas City, if you ever make it up here. Cabela's, Bass Pro.

If you're looking for some higher end stuff, The Outlaw Cigar store (north, not south) will sell Chris Reeve's and William Henry's stuff, which is price fixed, so you'll get the same deal as online. They have lots of other good production stuff, but it's right at retail.

Otherwise, you may just try to make it to the Wanenmacher "Tulsa Arms Show" in Tulsa, OK. They have acres of stuff, Nov. 12 and 13. http://www.tulsaarmsshow.com/

amazon, but I check out knifeworka . com as well. I try not to buy from ebay because I had a bad experience and frankly it always makes me nervous. mostly I try to wait till I can get to a knife store, smoky.mountain knife works most often in tn(its where I got my esee 3), but of not then its amazon.

Kershaw guy +1

Dave is simply the best. To get a better deal on a Kershaw you'd have to steal it.
