Where do you get your brass

Nothing here locally at the biggest steel supplier in town,,,,
What do you guys do for bar stock brass?

Make it my self using recycled copper. But I’m like most knife makers and do t use brass any more. it’s kinda fallen out of favor in the custom circles. I just started using silicon bronze and it’s real nice stuff. Also make that my self.

Much like JT, I make some of it by recycling scrap of all kind. Of course, the end result is mystery alloy. Otherwise, Buying it in town at a metals supplier.
