Hi guys,

I'm an amateur knife maker and I'm looking for some steel to make a few knives and I'm not sure where I could find some good steel, like SR-101 or D-2 to make some knives from, any help would be great!

Evan

Jantz knife supply, Texas knife supply, Admiral Steel, Precision Ground, Flat Ground, etc.

Call me, 1-800-638-7986. We have O-1,A-2 and D-2 at better prices than most others I have seen.

Just ask for Nick, the place you are calling is Metrics Unlimited.

Thanks
Nick:)

thanks a lot guys, I might give you a call nick, a few things came up, just need to get my finances in order

I get my stainless and tool steel from USAknifemaker. I've only ordered from them a few times but have always gotten great service. Shop around, there are several good suppliers.

I get tool steel from Nick and forging steel from Aldo. Used to use flat-stock.com for tool
steel and have nothing against them but Nick is a fellow maker and has better prices.
