You won't see any threads there - they're only visible to those with a Knifemaker membership.
FWIW, I have posted there a few times, and never gotten a response. You might be better off looking in the Knifemaker classifieds, finding somebody that makes something similar (or whose work you like), and reaching out to them directly.

Aside from the "knife maker wanted" section, another option that many take is to peruse the knife maker exchange areas. That allows you to check out the styles of the various makers. If you see an ad from a knife maker whose work appeals to you, you can contact that maker and ask about building something to your specs. Many will.
