Where does your multi-tool go?

My Juice sits in my drivers side door pocket in a Smoky Mtn Knife Works nylon sheath, and my Wave sits in my center console. Sometimes I carry the Juice on my wallet.

Assuming you haven't mis-stated about using a Wave instead of an awl, may I ask how you do it? An awl is the one thing I miss on my Charge (same basic tool array as the Wave). Sometimes I use the can opener point, but it isn't a great substitute.

PS: snips?

Awl! I want it, Awl! ;)

I guess, technically, its a thin very pointed screwdriver tip, but I think it makes a pretty good awl. As for the "snips", I dont mean TINsnips, but find that the scissors or cutter on the plier jaws are very useful!

Bladefixation2, I'll have a look at Peak, but I usually EDC a Surefire E2d next to the Wave, so the Solitaire's just a back up really (along with the phoney photon on my keyring!)

Thanks for the tip, though.

leatherman super tool at the office near me

cheappy chinese coppy inside the car, in case it get stolen
in the car there is anyway a wallet with plenty "real tool"

I have an old-style Leatherman Wave on my belt and a Victorinox SwissTool is in the BOB at my side.

My LM Super tool rides in a leather sheath I made after the nylon one died, my Gerber 600 rides in a nylon pouch I got from Home Depot that also houses a note pad and Plican M6 flashlight, they go with me everywhere. I use the them many times each day for everything from triming finger nails to truck repair. I've been thinking of retireing the Gerber and replacing it with a LM Crunch.

Welcome kd5rov, l've "retired" a number of multi-tools...it's half the fun of having them (IMO)

it's also part of the cost of this addiction. :P

I really like my Gerber though.. I've been thinking of getting a Gerber Diesel, and the LM crunch and retireing both my current EDC's. right now I'm working on a leather sheath design to hold both.
