Where/how do you store the majority of your knives?

Folders in this overpriced but very cool case from Drop.com ( via the 'Zon) but its very unique and was worth it IMO. Mine has been reorganized since this pic. I like that its tasteful and I can keep it on my nightstand and organize my stuff at the end of the day. It also locks, which is a bonus when my sisters kiddos are over.

I keep some of mine on display on the bookshelf in my desk/home-office area. However since that space in our current pad is in the corner of an open floor plan area that includes the living room and is also open to the kitchen, I've started putting more of them away to protect them from the buildup of long term exposure to cooking nearby. I went with a small Craftsman toolbox tucked under the desk. For the overflow and other EDC related stuff, I have some plastic ammo crates above. Of course there are others in other places, but this is where I keep the majority of my "grab-n-go" blades.

(d'oh...looks like one of the clocks needs a fresh rechargeable)

most of my really nice folders I keep in a old wooden silver ware box made in the 1850's , holds about 30 of my most trusted folders and sits on top of my dresser .

I use a Gerstner chest. Ran out of space, so I grabbed another one. Though I was lucky enough to find them at reasonable prices.

You may want to check out Gerstner International. Their pricing is much cheaper.

But any took chest, knife roll or Pelican case should do well.

I became tired of all the miscellaneous storage containers cluttering up my bedroom. I decided to buy a dedicated dresser that would blend in better. I was able find a nice, used, 6-draw dresser for a great price. Yeah, it's pretty full. This will easily hold around 250 knives (stacked 2 high, on average).

I still keep hawks, machetes, short swords etc, under the bed, in rolling containers.

Various drawers around the home, each with a few desiccant packages tossed in, and many knives in their boxes.

A small wood box on the dresser for my maybe 30-40 traditional folders, and an old knickknack display shelf thing on the wall for the maybe 20 belt knives.
