Officer Chuck Dominick is one of the premier sheath makers in America. I have had sheath orders on file with him since last fall and early this year and he also has one of my Swamp Rat knives to use as a pattern. I am also privileged to have several of his fantastic custom sheaths on hand. Having written to him numerous emails for follow up I have not yet received any answer. It's like he dropped off the face of the earth. Is he OK? Was he injured on the job? Is his family OK? Gosh, I really hope he is well. He is a wonderful guy and a great artisan. I only have good things to say about him but I'm really wondering were he is lately and is he still making sheaths. Any news would be appreciated. Thanks Richard W.
Follow-up on 10/9/2016. I have been rewriting to Mr. Dominic now four months I've still had zero response. I have sent notifications to his web page and also left notifications on his Facebook page. From reading the other responses on this post it appears that he is dropped off the face of the earth.
As previously noted I hope he and his family are well. We would all appreciate however some civil communication with regard to this matter. He still has a tallywhacker knife I sent him with which he was going to create a custom sheet. I have over $300 in this knife and its modifications. I wouldn't mind getting it back. If anyone has any information to post it would be greatly appreciated. signed Richard H Wingert, MD
