Where is the balance point on the FSH and M-FSH?

I am a subscriber to the more is better theory, especially where INFI is concerned but I wondered for a knife that will see more chopping which is better. I really would LOVE to get something in 5/16 but I will have to carry this thing around in the backcountry and maybe the thinner blade would be a better chopper (but sometimes coolness outweighs "perfect" function ;)). Where is the balance point on the two offerings? And I don't hear this asked too often but how much do these two thicknesses weigh?

Sorry if I am wearing everyone out in this forum with all my questions. That is what you all get for being so helpful (...and funny)! :D

HUH ?!?

Thicker would SEEM to = better chopping, but since no one but the FSH test team has used them yet.....

I'm gonna get a fatty and worry about it later. My advice is grab the fatty while you can, the 'slimmer' ones will be around for a bit longer.

so tell us what your thoughts are on the test knife? did you or do you like it? how did it chop? did the handle fit ok? huh, huh,

Yeah, I noticed that. Makes me want a new login ;) . I suppose I would drop everything and run if someone was waiving a knife like that for me to go and abuse.
