Where is the best place to auction off excess or unwanted knives?

I'm at that stage where I am going to simplify my life by reducing my collection of knives. I've already made piles of knives: this bunch I'll be buried with (figuratively speaking), this bunch the grandkinds will get, that bunch goes to the good friends I've made (no snide remarks about how small it is!). And that accumulation over there?... I'll reluctantly part with. I'm in no great rush, I'm not being propelled by calamity; I'd just like to have a plan underway before I shuffle off this vale of tears.
I've used eBay over the years for general items, but I'm looking for a good auction site that more or less specializes in knife-gun stuff, some place where real knife knuts congregate.
I'd sure appreciate hearing from anyone about their experiences and recommendations. Thanks to all.

eBay is about the only game in town. Bladeauction.com used to be okay, but it hasn't been functional in a long time. All the other knife auction sites suck.

You could get yourself a BladeForums gold membership and sell the knives here on the for sale forums.

Ditto that. A Bladeforums Gold membership is a great deal. For a paltry $25, you have a full year to sell all your knives right here.

A.G. Russell and Knifeart are sellers of previously owned knives IIRC

Moved to Good Bad and Ugly.

Ebay for traditional knives has worked well for me (a few years ago). Sound pictures and descriptions will serve you well there.

I have put up multiblades here at reasonable prices that never sold, but went for multiples of what I was asking when I put them on ebay.

More modern stuff stuff should do well here.

Customs - I would work with a dealer or ebay.

Keep in mind that to sell knives here you set a price and post it. (We do not do auctions here, unless it is a circumstance that involves charity or helping a member out that we can verify on a case by case basis.)

I second or third or what ever Ebay. I'm not a real big fan of Ebay but I've not had much luck on for sale forums like here at Bladeforums or knifeforums.
