I hope this isn't the wrong place for this but I know a budding knife maker. I would like it if he would make me a knife of m390 but finding some for him is a problem. I've checked this forum and used Google but I can't find anywhere that sells those steels. I'm willing to substitute the other steels.
Ideally I would like enough for a few knives. 1/4 inch thick and longer than 14 inches and wider than 2 inches. If the steel was already annealed that would be a big plus. He has a CNC machine but he or I would probably have to send the knives off for hardening because of the high heat and precision involved with such types of steels.
