when did these get put up??? thats the recurve fighter design from blade 2003 that hasn't come out yet, but I don't recall them being offered. I would like to think that it's not actually related to the knife that shall not be named, but if it is then I'll gladly take this down and mention it to the poster.

if not, when were these offered?

the 03 version had a ground down butt:

This knife showed up in a post a few months ago I think, I tried to find the post but someone made a similar comparison between this and that other knife (which I personally have never seen).

I wish I could find that thread - I even saved the pics in case it WAS "that" knife (but didn't end up keeping/archiving them), but eventually someone said it wasn't.

I wasn't sure what to make of it, but the picture wasn't removed during the time that the thread was active...

I would just assume it's not of any relations because it was a standard model showing at blade. I just have never seen it in that configuration, so it caught me off gaurd. I've had some long stints away from blade forums over the past 5 years, but normally I do okay and don't miss entire models...

I think it was offered in a ganza a while back. Hogwash had one and he had it worked on.

oooh yaaaa.... the stripped one. I totally forgot about that... I think my mind has been equating his knife to the force one for some reason, and it never really sunk in that it was one of the recurve fighters...

I got one of those at Blade last year.

Thursday night I used the password and asked to buy that knife which shall remain nameless but Jerry said he didn't have any.

Therefore the knife he handed to me at the booth on Friday could not possibly be related to that knife. I think...

Any way, that prototype differs from the knife I bought in several ways, the butt is different and I think unique. The serrations are different and the talon holes are smaller than the prototype.

It is not the Un-named knife.

It is a military over run from Blade last year, I have one.

Very nice, I think there were about 5 made.

I put up pics after Blade and then more pics when I stripped it, then a whole lot more pics after Ban fixed it up for me, but now it doesn't look very much like it did a year ago.

That pic David Brown just posted is the one I remembered seeing a while back, great looking knife!

It is a great looking knife for sure but now with all this talk of an Un-named knife i'm curious? What's the history of the Un-named knife?

Sounds like they're referring to the semi-mythical "Soul-1". IIRC, military over-run w/ extremely limited release and then only under the strict conditions that they never be re-sold, displayed or have pics posted of them. Supposed to actually exist, (unlike the Busse folder), but those who have seen it are sworn to secrecy. Pete

Yeah. I thought everyone had one. I've got like 12 of them. I give em out instead of candy at Halloween.

What kind of age limit do you impose on trick or treaters who come to your house? Do I need to involve my innocent little girls in order to score here?
